Dear Brophy Cross Country Runners,
After an outstanding track season and numerous new school records and a track state championship, it’s time to plan for the upcoming cross country season. We will miss the leadership and talent of Will Firth and Tommy Williams, but I feel that we have many young runners that have great potential. We anticipate 75-100 runners with a staff of six coaches.
We’ll award Brophy Cross Country t-shirts with (500-700 miles club on back of shirt) to runners who achieve those goals during the summer. You will have till August 20th to accompolish this mission. If you are out of town for the summer, try to wrok up to 1 -1 1/2 hours of continuous running.
Cross country practice will start Monday July 11th at 6:00 AM in front of Brophy. Practice will remain at Brophy until school starts in August. We will post a tentative meet schedule with a few weeks.
