Come out and support your Broncos at Brophy as they face Westwind Prep tonight. The JV team gets things started at 5:30pm. Varsity tips off at 7pm.
This is the first of three important contests this week. Thursday, the Freshmen, JV and Varsity teams head to Desert Vista for what is sure to be some very hard fought games.
Saturday is “Hoopcoming” at Brophy! The games against St. Mary’s start at 3pm with the Frosh match up. JV plays at 4:30pm. Varsity plays at 6pm. There will be a merchandise table, a snack bar and some hot food (Chic Fil A) available for these games! Come out and help our Broncos crush the Knights!
If you missed the game last night – or if you just want to enjoy it again (with the knowledge that there was a victory at the end) it will be replayed on Cox 7 / HD 1007 Saturday, January 14th, at 5pm.
Nothing better than beating the Chaparral Firebirds three games in a row! The Freshmen kicked things off winning 64-28. JV exacted their revenge on a previous 2-point loss winning 65-41. Then Varsity, overcoming a 5 point deficit at the half, finished them off 54-48. It was a beautiful thing to watch.
Tonight our Broncos take on Mesa Mountain View at Brophy. Frosh tip-off time 4pm. . . . JV at 5:30pm . . . Varsity at 7pm. Come out and support your basketball teams!!
Tonight our Broncos will face Chaparral at Grand Canyon University for the GCU / Cox Communications “Game of the Week”.
The Freshmen will start things off at 3:30pm; JV will tip off 10/15 minutes after the completion of the Freshmen game. Varsity will play at 7pm.
If you plan on going, the game will be a “BLACK OUT” . . . so wear your black and get there early! Doors open at 2:30pm. Please note, there is no re-entry to the arena if you leave.
If you’re not able to attend the games today, you can watch the Varsity game LIVE on: Cox7, HD1007 or Internet Cox7.com. The game will be replayed Saturday the 14th at 5pm.

Xavier vs. St. Mary’s – 5:00 p.m. Start
Brophy vs. Mesa – 6:30 p.m. Start
It is a “White Out” for both games. The student cheering section will be on the southwest side of the arena directly across from the visiting team’s bench
It costs $6 to get into game
We will have “FREE” / CO-ED rooter buses leaving from Brophy at 4:00 p.m. to attend both games and bring you back to Brophy after the game. Free pizza and drinks will also be provided for students on the bus.
Students interested in taking the bus are asked to please e-mail Ms. Dennard at sdennard@brophyprep.org. before the end of the day on Wednesday, March 2nd.
During the game we will make noise like the Duke Blue Devils fans, when any player on Mesa’s team, except Jahi Carson, has the basketball on offense. When Jahi or Brophy has the ball we will be quiet.
