November 2, 2009 - Currently playing the Super Regional/Region Tournament at Maryvale, the guys are off to a great start posting the best team score in both regional brackets.

Senior Parker Middleton and junior Paul Pullin both turned in impressive rounds of one over par 73 and freshmen Tyler Kertson played very well in his “post season” debut posting a round of 3 over par 75 (with a double bogey on 18).
The tournament continues today…

The golf team finished 1st place in our bracket of the Super Region Tournament.
The Broncos were led on day 2 by seniors Parker Middleton (3 under par 69) and Ryan Donahue (1 under par 71). Solid rounds by juniors David Lowe (1 over par 73) and Paul Pullin (2 over par 74) kept the team in the mix. Freshmen Tyler Kertson had a great 1st tournament with 2 rounds in the 70s.
The team finished the 2-day tournament 6 under par, one of only 2 teams to finish under par. Hamilton finished in record setting fashion with an incredible 2-day team total of 23 under par…
The state tournament will be held Monday and Tuesday at Papago Golf Course.
Special thanks to Golf Coach, Jon Shores, for his hard work and guidance.

St. Francis Xavier Statue Installation
August 2009 - Father Eddie Reese, S.J., Dr. & Mrs. Tom Hudak & Principal Bob Ryan and Tom Bollinger of Arizona Bronze Company among others were in attendance for the installation of the St. Francis statue in the Chapel yard.
A St. Francis statue original stood in the Chapel yard until a wind storm blew it down in the 50s.
The Sacred Heart was erected and now thanks to Dr. Tom Hudak and the Greg Hoyt Family, St. Francis is now standing in the courtyard. The Sacred Heart has been relocated and is now watching over the Graham Plaza where most students gather for lunch & break.
The statue
will be blessed by Father Superior John McGarry, S.J. after the Mass of the Holy Spirit on Friday -August 28th.
