End of Hockey Season Coming Soon

With the season coming to a close, it is sometimes nice to look back at all the successes and failures over the season. Who knows, we could get better from looking back at our mistakes.

First for our current standings: Brophy is currently ranked 4th (very close to third) in the league. Our record is 9-6-3; that’s nine wins, six losses, and three ties. We have a total of 21 points. With only two games left, it is possible for us to move into 3rd place above the Hamilton Huskies. All we need to do is win both games, or if Hamilton loses their one game, we need to win one.

Now a look back at the season almost gone: Brophy started the season off with a big win 11-0 against Mountain Ridge. The big start was not enough to keep the Broncos winning. We lost the next two games. Brophy decided to start playing and went undefeated for the next six games. After that the Broncos kept their winning record, only losing a few. The Broncos team, at one point, had four players in the top ten scorers for the league, and now still holds three positions.

The Broncos have made a few mistakes as a team, but have made more successful decisions. Please come and support your Broncos this Saturday night 3/19 at 5:25 PM at the DSCC in Peoria and Tuesday, 3/22 at 8:00 PM at the Alltel Ice Den in Scottsdale.
